TEKUN Nasional which was previously known as Yayasan TEKUN Nasional is an agency under the Ministry of Entrepreneurial and Cooperative Development and was established on the 9th of November 1998.
TEKUN’s objective of establishment was to provide an easy and quick funding for bumiputeras to start and develop their businesses.
Starting from 2008, TEKUN Nasional has made some changes and reforms consistent with the current needs by making the institution a strategic entrepreneur development institution which does not only provide business financing facilities.
Now, TEKUN has become an institution which provides business opportunities and income generating opportunities, business capital financing, service guidance and support as well as providing a networking platform for entrepreneurs.
It is hoped that with the new direction and rebranding, TEKUN Nasional will be an executing agency for the development of entrepreneurs, that is capable of producing excellent entrepreneurs.
