1. Where can I get the TEKUN Nasional financing application form? Answer: You can get the Tekun Nasional financing application form at any TEKUN Nasional regional offices, TEKUN Business Center, TEKUN Mobile or any expositions that TEKUN Nasional participates in.
2. To where should I submit my application? To the branch at my housing area or the branch where I run my business? Answer: Applications must be submitted to the TEKUN office located in the parliamentary area of where your business is conducted.
3. Is there any interest rate or service charge imposed on financing provided by TEKUN? Answer: Yes. There is an annual 4% service charge imposed on borrowers.
4. My wife and I run our businesses separately and own separate licenses. Are we allowed to apply for the financing separately? Answer: Yes.
5. I run a business that has its own license/business registration, but I run my business at my friend's/family's premise. Am I qualified to apply for TEKUN's financing? Answer: Yes. Provided that you also submit a permission letter of occupancy or rental agreement of the premise.
6. I still have a financing balance of RM25,500.00 with another financial institution. Can I still apply for TEKUN's financing? Answer: Yes. Applicants who currently have a financing balance of less than RM50,000 are eligible to apply for TEKUN's financing.
7. If I want to apply for TEKUN's financing, what is the financing limit that I can apply for? Answer: The amount that you can apply for is between RM500.00 and RM50,000.00.
8. What is the repayment period for TEKUN's financing? Answer: The repayment period is between 1 month to 5 years.
9. What is the actions taken against borrowers who fail to complete the repayment? Answer: TEKUN Nasional will continuously demand for full repayment.
10. What is the purpose of takaful insurance? Answer: Takaful insurance will settle the balance of financing should there be a death or a permanent disablement due to an accident during the period of repayment. In addition, the beneficiary will receive RM1,000.00 of Funeral Expenses (Khairat Kematian).
