TEKUN Nasional which was previously known as Yayasan TEKUN Nasional is an agency under the Ministry of Entrepreneurial and Cooperative Development which was established on the 9th of November 1998. TEKUN Nasional’s objective of establishment is to provide easy and fast financing facilities for bumiputeras to start and develop their businesses.

      From 2008, TEKUN Nasional has make changes and reforms consistent with the current needs by making this institution a strategic entrepreneur development institution which does not only provide business financing facilities. Now, TEKUN has become an institution which provides business opportunities and income generating opportunities, business capital financing, service guidance and support as well as providing a networking platform for entrepreneurs.

      It is hoped that with the new direction and the rebranding, TEKUN Nasional will be a dynamic executing agency, capable of playing an effective role to fulfil the objective of its establishment, consistent with the government's wish to form Bumiputera’s Trading and Industrial Community (MPPB). With MPPB's success, our wish to elevate the Malays' and Bumiputeras’ position in the economic field will be achieved.
